- Long An Economic Zone Authority – LAEZA is a civil service directly under Long An Provincial People's Committee  

- LAEZA effectuates its direct state management function towards the industrial zones (IZs), economic border gate zones, and offers public administrative services and other supporting services regarding investment and business activities of investors in the IZs, economic zones (EZs). 

- The main function of LAEZA is to manage and license investment projects in IZs and EZs such as investment, construction, labor and trade under the "one stop service" mechanism. In addition, LAEZA also has the function of managing activities in IZs and EZs to help enterprises secure their business

- The LAEZA is the contact point providing information about the industrial zones for domestic and international investors. Information provided by LAEZA giving investors general understandings of the industrial zones in Long An; and the investors do not have to pay any fees for information provided by LAEZA.

- The LAEZA connects domestic and international business associations in order to support the enterprises approaching and knowing about the industrial zones in Long An province. LAEZA shares, and provides information to domestic and international business organizations, associations (JETRO, JICA, KOTRA, VCCI, AMCHAM, EUROCHAM, etc) to support foreign enterprises easily and effectively approach the information.

- LAEZA is the focal point to receive and settle down difficulties and problems of enterprises during their investment and business operation in the industrial zones and economic zones in Long An province; resolve their problem in the fastest manner to secure their business operation activities.
